Inspired by a picture sent to me of an actual live transparent butterfly. So incredibly beautiful in strange and unique way.

In a clearing by a lake of silver glass,

In a field of dewy diamond grass,

I saw a vision so incredibly divine,

As I stood...completely lost in time,

Captured... by the beauty of her mind.

She sat upon the petal of a wildflower,

Drinking nectar of a higher power,

While telepathically... she conveyed,

Universal wonders, words could never say,

So profound...they took my breath away.

She spread her wings to catch the sun,

And in disbelief, my tears began to run,

For I saw daylight, through her wings,

Transparent fibres, stretched on strings;

And felt the rapture that uniqueness brings.

I looked into those orbs that were her eyes,

The place, were universal mysteries lie,

And saw the spark of love, that said goodbye,

As I watched her fly away, up to the sky,

I saw heaven, through the wings, of a butterfly.
