Cigar after cigar,

I don't feel warm.

Arm after arm,

I fear no harm.

I don't feel warm!

I don't hear screams,

still I fear my dreams!

I've endure all this pain,

but I still feel the rain.

This time I'll make it right.

This time I'll make it rhyme.

All this time I've wished you were mine,

I've wished I could change your mind.

I am the black sun!

They call me dark gold,

that is why I feel cold.

I have waited for so long;

I waited on the phone,

and I felt alone.

I need you, that's all.

Even though i'm not a train,

I have carried all this pain.

This night will make you mine.

This night I'll change your mind.

There is no doubt, this feels so right.

Feels like a flawless rhyme.

Night after night,

I watched your star;

the one you wear inside.

I hold you so tight,

still you went so far.

I swear I can feel warm,

when I remember your charm.

I wish I could erase the pain,

and my memories stayed the same.
