The scent of dampened grass fills the garden air,

For the rain has recently fallen on this beautiful paradise,

So full of life that it is like the pounding heart of a racing hare.

It is almost like a Garden of Eden for it is a place of no danger,

It cannot be a threat to me for I made this place my own,

And I will not permit the entry of any stranger.

Am I babying my paradise too much?

Can't it flourish without my guiding hand?

But it is me, I cannot leave without being a supportive crutch.
