For those of you following my poems, this is not about the girl in most of my poems, but about a different close friend. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who, whenever you see that one certain person, your world is a little bit better. FYI: if you hadnt guessed, her real name isnt Mary Jane...

You wont believe me,

When I tell you that I love you.

You wont believe me,

Even if it’s true.

I get such a rush,

Every once and awhile,

Cause you’re my Mary Jane,

And I’m getting high off your smile.

I know that I can never say,

That I’ve always been there for you,

But we’ve both been beaten by love,

And yes, I’m a bolt from the blue.

Just pull me together,

You’ll be surprised when you do,

Cause you’re my Mary Jane,

And I’m still getting high off of you.

I remember just yesterday,

When I said goodbye after school,

I know it was just a goodbye,

But your words made me come unglued.

I’m still floating,

In the air like a kite up above,

Cause you’re my Mary Jane,

And I’m getting high off your love.
