You laugh at those,

Who wear their hearts like pins,

For all to see,

They don’t hide what’s within.

They don’t care if they’re skinny,

They don’t care if they’re fat.

But you wouldn’t know about it,

You’re just too flat.

You hide away,

In your own little world.

You just sit back,

And watch the chaos unfurl.

It’s your music; conduct.

Don’t complain if you're stuck.

You have to rise above.

You’ve let push come to shove.

Like a maestro,

You’ve orchestrated it well,

Sent my world,

Falling into itself.

Your attempts to chain me,

Have failed to restrain me.

You can’t break me down,

You can’t steal my crown.

You ripped me apart,

Then threw me away.

I won’t waste my breath,

Asking you to stay.

You can’t control my life,

You can’t rule through this strife.

I’ve left you behind,

You’re finally out of my mind.
