I hate you. YOu people who use your own "good" acts as a balance for your sins. This is not an anti-god poem, but an anti-self-congradulatory poem.

I saw them on the streets,

Those clean-cuts with their plastic gods.

They put them out for display,

Showing that they run with the odds.

They hide behind their smiling gods,

Showing how they never err,

They hide behind the fakeness,

Pretending that they care.

Never take his name in vein,

But always use it to further thy greed.

And turn the other cheeks,

For others must when comes the need.

Give up thy life,

And thy reward shall overflow.

But stay comfy in this world,

You'll end up down below.

So hide behind thy plastic gods,

Hide behind your plastic smiles.

Hide behind your grinning lords,

And fear the reconciled.
