Everyone has dirt.

I'm a nutjob waiting to be cracked
by someone with the decency and will
to put me out of my misery
my floors are dirty and though it
drives me crazy
instead of sweeping I
just stare at the piles of shit and
steam blows from my ears
I'm like that in the way where fixable
things get my blood boiling yet I
won't be the one to get it done
what's the point
another pair of shoes will drag in
more dirt tomorrow
I say I'll sweep then
It'd be more realistic to say
I'll just stare

I'm not sure if you mean this poem literally....
But I can see what you mean both literally and figuratively.
Some people see something that is so easy to mend, but they are to pissed off to fix it. So instead of fixing it, they just sit there and wait....and wait....
They wait for someone else to come and fix their problems but all they're actually doing is making things worse. And they say that they'll do something about it, but they never do. And eventually they just act like they don't care and that it's not bothering them.

Honestly, I wrote this while staring at my living room floor. It was filthy at the time and both my boyfriend and my roommate NEVER sweep. I sat there and thought, 'am I really pissed at my dirty floors? How pathetic is that?' But being my stubborn self I sat and stared at the dirt fuming for about ten minutes and then I got up and swept because I knew it wouldn't get done any other way! lol
