A sweet, distant, feeling of security swept over her as she twirled her tiny body around his fire - her every glance sending chills down his spine. She worked and worked him around her bony fingers, tugging at every string she could find. And it felt so good when he touched her, her skin ached to make contact, it gladly accepted his hands as they slid down her back to unzip her dress. The curve of her neck, built solely for his lips seemed to devour him. She needed him, his arms around her - it was her sanctuary. It was as close as anybody could get to her - as close as everybody got to her - and still every boy who's name she ever screamed, was never close at all. Her eyes, dazzling with intoxication, where the only real part of her she couldn't hide - and he could see it. The hurt, the torment, the insecurity - all of it, but it didn't drive him away. Nothing but her garments on, she searched wildly for his touch, but then there came none, he simply laid beside her with those deep brown eyes and dimpled smile;
"lets just sleep - this way, you will never forget me."
and for the first time, in her 18 years of life, she felt the slightest hint of love.
