With Love was the world created,

And with it shall it end,

Reason plays such a smallish part,

For reason breaks and bends.

But Love is strong and everlasts,

And Love conquers once and soon and present time,

Love of man, and True Love ‘bove all,

Love exceeds the flawless, faulty logic of the mind.

For what reason does Love need,

And since when does Love choose to die?

But reason suffers fallen state,

And reason learns to lie.

So can Love and True Love most,

Meet and suppress mind’s mighty beast,

And therefore, Love, oh therefore I,

I trust my reason least.
