when the present is bitter and misty

when the future seems gloomy and foggy

when you simply cannot smile,

when you truly cannot rejoice

when all seems to be over

and enduring becomes bitter

even when ur faithful hope seems impotent ,

you still need to combine both to be competent.

when the river of joy is dried up

and you feel like flaring up

when all u are capable of doing is cry,

when all that is interesting to u turns dry

when all you can see is darkness

and u are eluded by happiness,

you can still possibly let a light shine forth

by putting hope and faith forth.

Is ur heart still beating?

why then are u panting nd wallowing?

hope u are not trying to give up?

when ur challenges haven't given up;

you just have to keep on fighting

by attempting,enduring nd hoping

until u get to the promised land

or better still-the dreamland;

the land of your fulfilment

where there is contentment

it can only be accessed by a vehicle

containing hope;the instrument of miracle.
