Sitting and watching someone slip away from you, when everyone thinks everything's fine.

Sleep has stolen you from me

Left me alone with a pane of glass

And a skyline that doesn't give a damn

Our time may have passed

You know too where we're headed

Still you choose to turn over without talk

Words that could maybe save us

Stay just as they are, a thought

Maybe we still look beautiful

To the distant naked eye

Two burning balls of light

Together in the night sky

Only we can know the truth

Only we can know the lie

Out here in cold cold space

The fire is starting to die

Picture frames on the bedside

Don't catch our gaze anymore

We've lost our regard for memory

Reminiscence is now a chore

My line of sight moves down over

the nape of a neck I used to kiss

To a shoulder now so cold i shiver

How did we get to this?

Sometimes I just want to hold you

But I'm scared I've forgotten how to

Everyone's in love with our love affair

Everyone except me and you

I'm tired of being a symbol

I'm tired of being a joke

Someone's constellation

Someone else's hope

I know we're better than this

(Or at least we were)

Not sure I have the strength anymore

And I'm losing feeling

Knowing the worst feeling

Is feeling nothing at all

Maybe we still look beautiful

To the distant naked eye

Two burning balls of light

Together in the night sky

Only we can know the truth

Only we can know the lie

Out here in cold cold space

The fire is starting to die

And I’m too tired to cry

Watching two stars die
