I'm not saying the end is near but you can't look around and tell yourself that there isn't a cause for worry.

The world won't end tomorrow, it may even stick around for a few more years but some day the government will become unstable and people will be left to defend themselves.

In Christianity, and maybe Muslim... I don't know, they fear Armageddon. Armageddon is a battle of about 7 to 8 years against Jesus and the Anti-Christ. People who believe in armageddon believe that the faithful and good will be raptured, taken from this Earth and brought to the clouds to watch the fight. Those who do not believe in God or who are unworthy will be left to fight against the anti-christ.

In Norse Mythology they fear Ragnarock, a fight against the high gods and demons. People will have to be inbetween the holy war with no say. After the fight ends the Earth will be reborn.

Even people with no set religion have ideas of the end. Some go as far as Aliens but many people stay with globel warming or even massive natural/man-made disasters. Seeing the world attack itself with increasing damages has set about different thought of how it will all end or even if it will end and not just start over. It's difficult to specify excatly how or when a major disaster will happen but it's best to prepair in any way you could imagine. For this reason a new fab has grown, Preppers.
