I pack my bag

I say goodbye

I’m off again

To the great unknown

Trees on either side

Rocks beneath me

All different towns

I’m where I belong

I pack my bag

I say goodbye

I’m off again

To the great unknown

Drifter is my title

Adventure drives me

Emptiness fuels me

Unknown is my name

I pack my bag

I say goodbye

I’m off again

To the great unknown

Nothing is ever permanent

Love dies out

Friends drift away

I’m the drifting now

I pack my bag

I say goodbye

I’m off again

To the great unknown

A broken heart and depression allowed me to float

I wish I could go back to a safe stable home

To do that would only cause more emptiness

These towns that I visit make me whole even it is only for a week

Life to me is random towns and no connections

I pack my bag for the last time

I say goodbye

I die where I belong

A empty town

Nobody to care

I’m off again

To the great unknown foreve
