No blood will flow through my veins.
So my flesh is colder than ice.
Pale lips are lifeless to kiss.
With no blood all efforts are in vain,
To make me warm.
I
m loveless,
One without love.
No dream or hope could ever save me
from the darkness inside
A hollow beating heart,
how it beats I do wonder?
If it beats how am I cold?
How can it beat without blood?
Without love?
I do wonder

My suffering is all I own…
Tonight my heart beats louder…
Tonight it beats fast…
I open my eyes to the dark shadows
Of yesterday
’s past
Loveless is my name
Yet my flesh grows warmer…
Blood flows and makes my cheeks flush pink
How I do wonder

Did this come unto me?
I do wonder…
How this lost soul was set free?
I do wonder

How blood can form in hallow veins?
How I wonder,
how it came to be
