What if I exchanged
screams for silence,
tears for laughter,
death for life,
or instead
fear for strength,
and
black for white?
Or possibly if I exchanged ‘bad’
For ‘good’?
Would the world would be to perfect,
not quite sane?
Would it erk all our nerves,
set us on end?
So maybe we should keep things the way they are…
Stop the questioning of whether or not
We should rid ourselves of certain things,
Things that seem a hindrance to us.
Perhaps equal balance is needed,
between ‘good’ and ‘bad’.
And is it possible to keep all the ‘good’
Without it’s counterpart of comparison?
Besides,
We couldn’t change it anyways.
And I think we’d prefer the world to stay,
The way we know the world will stay,
until that day,
many
BILLIONS
of years away.
The sun's expansion
from it's dying
burns us all into ashes.
