I'm the ragdoll,
you've cherished
since you were a child.

Painted smile on my face.
A dress of stitches,
to which you embrace.

Lying limp in the sunshine
of your front lawn,
filled with your sorrow,
I'm just your toy.

I'm the comfort,
you've forgotten,
after all the years of abuse.

You paint a smile,
on your face,
to which all the girls,
seem to embrace.

Laying limp in the sunshine
of your front lawn,
filled with your sorrow,
I'm just your toy.

I'm the memory,
never meant to last,
faded ever,
is your past.

Grown up into a disgrace.
Remember the simpler days,
playing make believe,
and wanting a heart to embrace.

Laying limp in the sunshine
of your front lawn,
filled with your sorrow,
I'm just your toy.

I'm the ragdoll,
you've cherished,
since you were a child.
A painted smile,
you cannot resist.
A dress of stitches,
to which you kiss.
