I'm locking my love for you in a cage.
It'll be surrounded bars black and cold.
Soon it will wither and die,
with no warmth or energy to survive.
This is the anwser my prayers,
a chance to let these feelings fade.
They are pointless,
it will never work.
The distance isn't right,
nor is the chemistry.
The frequency of our communication,
doesn't sound right and tonight,
I'm putting this in the place that's right.
In the back of my heart,
dark and deary.
The corner of nightmares,
in a cage of fury.
I'll blow a kiss good bye,
and whisper the words,
"I never loved you.",
just to make myself sure,
then leave you to yourself.
You'll never miss me because the truth is,
we never had a thing,
we never had an us,
we had a lustrous dream,
that we shouldn't of touched.
