We're caught up in this web of heartbreak and highs.
Heartfelt whispers and teary eyes.
When you hold me near
I feel your fear
I push you away
when I want you to stay.
Please don't let me go please hold me tight
Tell me you love me and kiss me goodnight.
Every time our eyes meet I feel a thunder in my heartbeat you set the butterfly's free to dance inside of me.
It's always at the back of my mind
How you treated me unkind,
You break my heart and take me back to the start.

i like your use of alliteration and word choices, but i can't help but be distracted by the rhyme scheme. a little too heavy. i rhyme too, but i'll often alternate lines to lighten the effect a bit.

thank you for your feedback. this is an earlier piece there wasn't an intended rhyme scheme it was just a piece i wrote from the heart just like all my works
