These words I sing

Echo into the night

And they make my voice

Feel so small

/

There's no clarity at all

This room is vibrating

As my voice resounds

/

In here, all of my fears

They seem to be screaming at me

/

My words can not drown them out

And all of my beliefs and convictions

They fade away

/

How can you believe that someone cares,

When no one's there?

/

How can you belive that you can never be lonely,

When you feel so alone?

/

Where's the hand that was supposed to reach out to me?

Where are the arms that were supposed to catch me?

Why am I still falling?

/

How can there be clarity,

When I've become something which I hardly understand?

/

How can there be understanding,

When I've already forgotten my name?

/

How can there be peace,

When everything around me seems to be shattering?

/

These words I sing

Echo into the night

And they make my voice

Feel so small

/

My words are lost in this abyss

As I've had no contact with everyone around me

/

Can I just feel your hand?

Mine are so cold

/

Can you just help me to stand?

Because I feel like I'm falling

/

Could you help me up?

I've already fallen
