Little darling, please no more cries,

one day I’ll be back to clean up all my lies.

Little darling, you were so small,

I was not ready to teach you how to crawl.

Little darling, you’re in my heart,

even though I took yours before you could start.

Never again will I be forced about what to do,

my life could have been different, all so new.

Life or death it was, apology will be denied,

but I’m sorry that all I was thinking was my pride.

Like a crumpet full of holes, like a fire, full of coals,

that was my life drowning in a deep bowl.

As you will never learn how life could be,

read this as one would plea.

In my heart there’s a dent,

it was beaten and bruised, no where I knew where your life was spent.

I never realised what this all meant,

until now to heaven my angel, you were sent.
