Loss, Grief, Hollowness

As the red sun grieves the passing of day, so does he
As the white moon rises to mark days end
without delay, so does she
After every night, to return is her duty
His dependency is her never ending beauty

She was, she is, his life, his love, his rose
He misses her eyes, her hair, mouth, her nose
Forever more cold and hollow and empty
No good, but of bad there is plenty

A rose reminds him how they struggled
At first a look, a touch, a kiss
to each other they smuggled
Forever lost in an abyss
Never again warmth, never again good days
just sleepless nights where he prays

Did you like it? did you not?
