Christians on the Attack

What is always so striking about the christian mentality, is that their god must be very fragile. For whenever anyone challenges his 'divine' status, they always feel the need to jump to his defense.
For that very reason he seems to be a very weak god, not able to take a ribbing. According to the christian he is a diety; shouldn't that make him impervious to a differing opinion of him? Or jokes about Him?
Joseph Campbell, a teacher and a scholar, was a brillant man. He sought to find a common thread that ran through all spiritual practices and rituals.
He believed that all human beings shared a type of cosmic understanding, instilled at the beginning of human consiousness, that which was found within the human psyche.
He was about joining through his concepts, not pulling people apart, and he was attacked by christians, at times visciously. To him christianity was just one more spiritual practice, one among many.
The christians of course didn't like that. So since christ can't endure any kind of challenge from a differing perspective, he must always have his bullies jump into the frey to do his fighting for him.

Ive been reading your work and I see you seem to hate christianity. Im not too religious but I do rather appreciate the morals christianity is supposed to uphold.
Tell me what exacty about it do you find so spitful
At the heart of Christianity is the basic truth that is proclaimed within it, that the Source of the human soul, of human existence, CHOSE A MALE to be known upon the Earth. Is that the truth? Not to me. The 'teachings' of Jesus are given, so called, through twelve other MEN called the New Testament. How does that have relevance for women? And yes there is more. If you understand the 'end of times' as is proclaimed within the Christian belief system, all non Christians, those who don't believe that the Source chose a male to enter into and then be known upon the Earth, will be destroyed upon their 'day of judgment.' Ever hear from a Christian, 'I'll pray for you?' it's a statement of religious superiority. That very same judgment which is done by their god in his omnipotence. I suggest you look further into Christian teaching when it comes to the end of days and a world without end, and of who will find eternity and of who will be destroyed.
So you hate it because its male centered. How much of it have read and truly studied there is more to it than gender. I mean yes jesus is the son but that isnt the basis for all of christian teachings
I have studied enough of the male perspective of existence. More than I will ever need. Religions such as Christianity have made men more than arrogant. And women also suffer because of these god dominant religions, they have made us ignorant and out of balance with the Source of our soul.
