Unlike what was promised in books such as the bible, heaven does not exist. The architecture for the realm of the human spirit is begun on Earth. It is built through all human action. Consider the first acts of mankind which were of violence against another human being. Call it the beginning of the Cain and Able spiritual construction company. Now count the many, many acts of violence, both large and small which occurred right up until the crucifixion, a religious symbol of horrific violence and the perfect symbol of a spiritual Hell. Then, think of all the other destructive actions which still occur on Earth through the will of humanity, each one creating, bringing forth a realm of the spirit. We as human beings have done so little that would construct a heaven realm, and so much more of what would bring forth the realm of Hell. So, without a heaven to receive the human spirit, the logical space is Hell. The only other option being oblivion which not many would will. Making Hell the most likely when considering all things. In conclusion, whatever you believe of the Source of the human soul, you must also believe of Hell. If you believe in a punisher, destroyer god, then Hell brought forth is just that, a place of punishment and torment. But if you believe in the Source of creation, the one of equality and continuance which is known through the human soul; then Hell is a space of enlightenment. Not a place of peace, nor of beauty, (excepting in the eye of the beholder) it is where you may not like what you might learn through the flames you might fear. But through the knowledge gained there your spirit will evolve and thus continue in greater wisdom.
