We understand that words describe, but individual words also have unique history,

and many have undergone a transformation through vocabulary and new definition.

Words change through differing dialect as it is spread through human communication.

Leaving behind the 'proper' pronunciation, 'bastardization' occurs,

the more current term being 'slang.'

To know a history in one word, consider 'bonfire.' Well used in literature,

it came from the term 'bonefire,' a fire for burning corpses coined in16th century Europe.

Bonfire is just one example of how words are slowly changed to suit current society,

and are then used in the cultural consideration of what is correct.
