Moving toward the gates of Hell,

passing by the ancient wishing well.

That which goes deep within the bowels of the earth

and beyond.

There you can throw a thought filled penny,

taken from a dead mans eye.

The boatman who ferries a spirit,

across the river to a shoreline,

of a heaven which does not exist,

requires two coins for this trip.

And since that destination is only illusion,

what difference does it make.

The real wish is cast as the coin is tossed,

into the black of the  wishing well.

For the words were spoken, that the gates of the darkest space,

are always open, and it is there alone that  none are forbidden to enter.
