A heart is a funny thing,

 

one day it has a diamond ring,

 

and a much loved king.

 

Then it sits and sings,

 

of a dreamer's wedding.

 

Tomorrow it'll be crying,

 

with nasty scars of broken love.

 

To be at peace,

 

we release a dove.
