Come To Me, My Sweet Sleep

 

My eyes has dropped

My heart has stopped

I feel weak at the knees

My perfect harmony

Sing to me

 

I count ten sheep

And play of [deep] sleep

I wish to dream

Of dreams so sweet

Come to me

 

I hear the songs of night

I see the moon; so bright

I feel myself doze off to bed

I taste the drops of my dream now dead

I smell the flowers now stained red

 

 

Ah, come to me my sweet steep

Come to me eternally.
