Purpose in Reason
Everything happens for no-reason,
It’s a purpose-less world.
Cold and cruel,
For you reap your neighbour’s sow.
The world is full of nothing but reasonable purpose.
Bad things happen to good people,
To keep them divine.
Happiness belongs to the poor,
For they appreciate what little they possess.
And the meek inherits the earth,
For it’s them, who never stops trying.
Is there any louder and clearer purpose in reason?
Married to existence;
Subjectively, arrogantly and deniably
Mistook for fate and destiny.
Reason to purpose is staring you in the face,
Right under your nose
But your arrogance and self-pity
Cripples your sight and sense of smell
You don’t need to find it!
For there’s purpose in everything
And in everything, there’s a reason.
What is the reason to your purpose?
And what purpose is served by your reason?
