A short post that I wrote up with a character of mine, Gabriel. It just caught me, so I decided to put it up.

Darkness' haunting superiority concealed all that lounged in it's depths. The night's resounding screams and whipping gouge only lasting as long as the hours would allow. The corrupted empire always victim to the coming of light itself. Downfall at it's lowliest. It's imposing featurements danced on the horizon's toned edges as the last dying cries of what had been drifted off into complete and total desolation, nothingness. The sun's silken dress embraced the world itself into her loving folds. Caressing the bodies that streamed and yawned their complaint to it's loving arrival. One motion caught the all seeing eye, particular to the rest. The overhead canopy allowing the dappling shard of light to pierce it's cloaking unit and shroud the beast below in a warming blanket. A muchly desired comparison to the bleak cool the shadows brought. Flawed in various ways, a temporary marking tainted the lord's abstract muzzle. Bittersweet in it's tasting, it proved an imposing view to fearing eyes. Crimson bathed the hatch of Gabriel, painting in in an intimidating hue. This tint the aftermath of a meal well consumed, the baron's swollen innards bearing witness and testimony to this assumption. Fluttering plume and debris of what once had been a living organism also told the story as it's possessor was no longer there to care for it. Ravenous hunger was dolefully beaten into willful submission as the animal rose from it's crouching position in the forestry's lurking depths. Skeletal spires stabbed the breaking sky as dawn lunged at them like Gabriel had done , just moments ago to the now deceased rabbit. Their naked structures preview to the winter and fall as the towering limbs groaned in protest against the biting winds. Aching and creaking, awaiting the precious spring and summers that blessed them with fine adonement. Lushious greenery unrevealing to true imperfections. The leaves that fluttered gracefully in smooth breezes and casted a radiant melody on windy days. The lullably of peace and harmony, comforting the good beasts that dozed in it's majestic wake. Yet this was all the old picture that the drake had stored in precious memory, nothing more for now as spherical lobes represented his acute hearing atop of a finely etched cranium. Jowls spread and exposed ivories, lethal in times of peril, but now just something that was 'there' as the varg stifled yawn, a wave of weariness rushing over him like a the pounding of the sea's contents on battered shores. This very day, he would relax. Naught a worry or care in the world to bother him. Not today, not Gabriel, but it's amsuing how terribly wrong something can be....
