I wrote this again in high school while dealing with stupid young lusts of the flesh. Pornography gripped me for many years and I painfully wrote many poems like this.

I sit here looking for the stars,

 But none shine upon me...

For I need a wishing star for myself,

To reverse things I didn't intend to be...

What do you do?

When you develop a broken promise?

The blood is stained on my hands,

I even swore on my life as a bonus...

Now I feel I can't look up,

Even to the lord up above...

It's as if there is a barrier in the sky,

That is hiding all his love...

The sun doesn't shine for me any longer,

Darkness is all that favors me...

That is the consequence,

For looking at things you promised not to see...

How do you convert dark to light?

How do you overcome the temptation?

Where is my help that lies beyond the sun?

To get me past this heartbreaking situation...

I fear for my love,

As it may banish from my heart...

Because I can't seem to make my own decision,

That I should have made from the very start...

Where is my will power?

My self control is weary...

For my soul is unconscious,

My heart and soul seem to be dreary...

I'll be sure to make it right,

For this youthful lust needs to die...

For this causes my guiltiness,

As I deal with My Grey Sky...
