It begins in the dirt

As small as a pea

It’s a little seed

Fuelled by the rain

To make it grow

Up and up.

Living in peace

It has leaves

As green as the grass

A nice strong trunk

As brown as the dirt.

But the peace gets disturbed

By many humans chopping at the trunk

The tree eventually comes down

Making a thump when hitting the ground

Making its final loud sound.

Its then placed on top of a large four wheeled transport system

And taking to a strange building

Where the ruff yet beautiful bark is removed

In a violent way

With cutting and chemicals.

Using more chemicals

To make what is left into some sort of liquid

Then squeezed and heated until….

It’s done…

It’s paper…

A massive colossal living thing turned into a fragile, thin and lifeless object…
