I am seen as you want
as I did in mirrors
on walls of colors
before

the sudden gray disrupts
upon hours passing

ticking away
wasting away

I am the soul
inside the melting flesh

my blood corrupt

image of me fades

into decay and life
is nothing of the same

I am gripping
a holdfast to hope

surrendering
to clouds in distant
shrouds of comforting light

my dream is bright
even in darkest night

where shadows meet
and discuss defeat

I am still the one in mirrors
before, upon walls of colors

full of me

full of life....

I am Still Me
