the bouts have fallen
deep in crevices
I no longer
have the pleasure to keep
expectations
are beyond me
the limits have been
crossed
the bands have ripped
from the stretching
and loss
of some kind of love
recollections of such
has escaped me
and I am devastated
for neither ear
nor eyes could
know what will be gone
today
or even tomorrow
it's a sad sorrow
that is how we are
human ways
have been strange
