streams of chances
come flooding my eyes
alluring glances
that may have had
cured me to open up again
it failed to my
steel covered walls
which have known
the glares and waits
of such opportunity
only to pass on to loss
the tortured misses
becoming the nothing gained
as now my eyes see everything
as the same pain
