I race out of my mind
to find you,
to look upon your face.
The one that saves me
from the mire of shame
though,
you are nowhere near
I want that high feeling again.
Has memory and time
locked you away,
thrown away the key
until desperation
comes beckoning
for you to be free?
You are suspended in
a lapse of time
in the darkest
parts of my mind.
I am still wandering,
As silence is deafening
and my room is a shrine
to release you to me.
