All of you ridicule me

all the time.

Do you think I'm empty inside?

Without a heart?

Without a prayer?

Take a step back

and look at me.

Tell me what you see.

An imperfection you do not like?

Something you can ridicule me about

for the rest of my life?

All I'm asking is:

Look at me as someone real;

as someone who feels.

Everything you say

stings like slap in the face

and I grow empty inside.

Do you not know how you make me feel?

Do you not know how words can kill?

All I'm asking is:

Look at me as a human being;

as someone who arows and thinks.

Because

each ridicule hurts like a blow

and I'm one inch closer to death.
