I forfeit now,

I'm not playing this game

any longer.

I know the timer hasn't stopped,

but I must.

I put my blood, sweat, and tears

into this

and I just can't give

anymore.

We are just players in this game called

a relationship,

so we are free to quit.

I'll just make the

phone call now,

so the break-up can begin.

This was fun at first.

I got a nervous feeling in my stomach

everytime we were about to play.

But all the butterflies went away.

They flew off and left me

with an oh-so forboding feeling.

I always heard

the haters in the background

who were cheering for the loss.

Maybe they were smart

to place such a bet.

Their negitive thoughts overran my

pleasant bliss

and the enviroment got to be

too much for me.

So I put this to and end.

I know our love

was just blooming,

but now its time to stop.

I don't think we got enough cheering

to ever keep going on.
