All the promises you made me

are broken.

When you let them go, you let me go;

now I'm stranded, and all alone.

The vast wasteland I am now,

is not who I was before.

I am broken.

All the shattered promises

is who I am now.

I'm warped forever

and horribly changed.

Don't you see?

I'm all alone; I'm lost

and I have no one.

But, I'll fix me now,

and I'll promise myself

that I will become stronger

and I'll survive anything.

In everything I do,

I'll try not to remember you.

I won't let your promises rule me

any longer.

In doing this,

I've discovered me.

I'm not a broken person,

and I'll never be.
