Sorrowful

As the willow that weeps.

Gazing into the distance

With an unsteady and fading

Heart.

Sewing tightly closed combustible yearnings

Til nothing remains but

Obedience.

Having no purpose but to follow the

Road

That in truth stretches in infinite directions

But made to only allow a

Singular path.

But O, What the dying heart

Would not give for a

Savior

To cut into this sepulcher of flesh and blood

And release all things

Obstructed --

the fury, the vengeance, the agony,

the uncertainty, the hatred, the misery,

the desires, the dreams, the hopes.

Why do these things exist

If their use and exhibition are forcibly constrained?

Hasten to me my Savior

And release me from these

Chains of

Emotion and deception of

Dreams.

Place me in your arms

And hold me close.

Lend me your wings

And let us fly away

And never return.
