The depth of sadness and pain I once felt being away from someone I loved more than anything in this world.

There is a warm wetness that my eyes

Will not stop producing,

Sliding down my cheeks

And into my lap.

To explain the cause, I cannot.

Only that it cannot be tears

For tears usually imply a Sadness,

And this Ocean of meshed elements

I hold in my lap

And in my heart, and in my thoughts

And in the deep recesses of my mute soul

Is a thing beyond the endless plains,

Beyond the secrets of the unreachable stars

Beyond the bottom-most ends of the unknown sea

Beyond any abstract explanation.

So fall, little drops of my muddled soul

Until you complete your ocean,

And I become nothing

But a small shell forever drifting

In your burning waves of Longing.
