A poem I wrote after a bad fight with my partner. It's so strange how different you view the world when you are feeling angry and hateful. please read and comment! :)

The Wind whistles

Through the cracked window

The world is dark, bleak, with no surprises.

This chair

Is not mine.

But I sit upon it,

Wondering at it's stability.

The walls are mocking

And the door hardly a barrier.

My mind;

A blank sheet

More beguiling than the spotless walls.

And You:

The fire that licks at it's edges

And taunts with false heat.
