Open Arms

Open arms, a feeling that we all desire

Winds encompassing the feeling of love

Waking truths that sail through the youths of fire

The caged bird sings, a memoir, a naked dove

When will this end

When will this stop, a pain so real

Entrusting this, why do I feel

I want to be free, pleasures of life

Cutting thorugh life's paper, an unknown strife

Cast afair, new winds stir about

Walking through with untouchable hearts

Only life's little faults

Gently flicking the strings, interrupted doubt

Being myself, listening to my very soul

Catching life's curves, minding my way

Portraits in the lost sands, the tides that flow

Breathing in sorow, releasing it, new love at bay
