Status: Finished  |  Genre: Other  |  House: Booksie Classic

it is about heartbreak

It is through these sorrows of my heart

That I have found you.

Through the trials and errors that have befallen

Upon me-

I do now see,

Why the birds do, decree-

That the heart is a burden to bear.

Breaking on the inside, I am-

Like a stone on the out- I refuse to show it,

Tears- should fall like a stream

Down my face,

But- they do not,

Dry as a desert my eyes are

Seeming to be full of sand,

I do now see why the birds do decree

That a heart is a burden to bear.

Oh wo’eth me,

Why was this curse bestowed upon me?

Was I shameful?

Or possibly ungrateful?

I will surely not know-

I do now see,

Why the birds do decree-

That my heart, is a heavy burden to bear.
