Just a poem that tackles certain issue in life, how at times the things people say can affect us in a way that changes us and how as much as we try to ignore lifes negativity we eventually start to listen to it and believe it..

Stolen my Key

I hear them.

Everyday i hear them.

Every night i hear them.

My life, i hear them.

What do they say?

I try not to listen.

Forever consuming my soul,

-my heart.

It is a door

OnlyI should open

Yet they are forever inside.

It hurts.

-Always it hurts.

And soon I start to believe.

To doubt.

I forget who I am.

They've stolen my key,

I can't get out.

I press my hands,

Try not to listen.

Still I hear.

My door, they've opened.

I hear them

Every day, I hear them

Every night, I hear them

My life,

I hear them.
