Chapter one of my manuscript, Exclusively Included.
A stumbled beginning into a career in education spanning twenty years. I was unprepared, instantly addicted.
I've worked with thousands of disaffected students and their families, have been many things in my support of them; including opinion to permanently exclude and a hand to hold walking into the care system. I've been a traditionally published author of two, specialist educational books, a behaviour support team manager, a designated safeguard lead. I've been a victim and then counsellor of domestic violence. Alongside, I've been a struggling single mum. I've never been a teacher.
