This is the day that I die

I wear a spider on my finger

And I know every small flaw

Just as I know that my

World will end, if

Not now,

Then

Tomorrow.

And I see through eyes that

Refuse every truth and deny

Every bit of self

Just to prove that there is

Nothing left

For me.

Not to-day, and

NotTomorrow.

And I hear words and thoughts

That reject the will

To make sense because

They are

LIES

That will bring my end closer,

And closer, and closer,

Until the day I die;

Until I die:Tomorrow.

And I smell roses because

Every other smell is that of

Decay and disintegrating hearts.

Disintegrated as my own,

As broken,

And that alone

Is enough to

Make me

See that

There will

Be

No

Tomorrow.

This is the day that I die.
