A few years ago a friend of mine took his life after his wife left him for somebody with money. He loved his wife with all his heart, trying to give her everything she could want. After she left he couldn't take the lonelyness and well this poem is for you my friend, I miss you.

"Missing You..."

Crying out to oblivion my heart yells upon deaf ears

Of its loss and loneliness it’s sadness and woe

That it will never see-hear-feel the lover I and it longs to hold

Eyes look down the road of eternity with empty tears

Never again will their be sunny days with warm rainy Mays

Beholding bluer than blue eyes to reflect my happiness and cheer

For the day…stretches upon deaths withered hand

Longing to touch and hold your delicate skin and soul

Feet pacing up and down the quiet hallways of my sad mind

In the knowledge that the future only brings devastation and tears,

With the utter hollowness of my mind forever drenched in fear

At the thought of becoming wrinkled-empty-alone

In my golden years living in a dilapidated home.
