The rain trickled down the window

Emma glared into deep abyss

Nothing mattered now

Emma’s beauty, a rarity

A flower never seen

A single tear journeys down her face to the brilliant white pillow

Emma is infectious

Her company golden

That didn’t matter now sure

Emma’s ready to resign

She just needs to sign on the dotted line

Life is a false advertisement

Emma’s slow breathing

Like a scream through the silence

She stares now, callous

Emma is here

But she's not

So where is she?

Emma’s bedroom door cracks

Dinner Emma!

She tucks her appointment with death away

I’m coming she whispers…
