My little lamb plays with wolves

I taught him better,
I warned him of their kind
deceitful and clever.

He doesn't realize
the matter so serious,
hanging with these wolves
is very dangerous.

My little lamb
left the flock to join a pack,
forgetting his past
and never looking back.

He turned against me
my dear sweet lamb,
changing for the worst
because of them.

I found today
that my little lamb had died,
those wolves actions:
of course they lied!

Never a friend
a predator in disguise,
I warned him
but he chose to believe their lies.

I love my lamb
the lamb he used to be,
I lost a friend
and a member of my family.
