I whisper my love in a porcelain vase

To keep my my mind from devouring me.

But you wandered in and tripped and fell

You broke it, love, you broke it.

Between my fingers slip its shattered fragments

And ghosts of our memories come surging through the shards.

They look for a new home, away from the curse of you

Flocking from my sadness.
